What Can an Electronic Cigarette Kit Do For You?

You're tired of spending money on smoking and being banned from lighting up a cigarette outdoors. Yet, when it comes down to your options, you don't want to quit. Standard tar and filter cigarettes, in some areas, now approach $10 for a pack, and you know the carcinogens and tobacco inside are taking a toll on your health. Is it possible to still smoke and not drain your money and health at the same time?

An electronic cigarette kit is advertised as an alternative. Consisting of three parts, an electronic cigarette kit contains two reusable components and only requires replacement cartridges and batteries. Each electronic cigarette kit has a rechargeable battery, an atomizer, and a set of cartridges. A charger is also included. When the three basic parts are put together and the device activated, the battery turns on the atomizer, which heats up the liquid inside the cartridge. All the user needs to do that this point is inhale through the mouthpiece. All cartridges contain a liquid of nicotine and flavor oil dissolved in propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin, and nicotine-free versions are also available.

An electronic cigarette kit also reduces the amount of money you spend on smoking over time. While the initial startup cost is between $70 and $90, only the battery and cartridge need to be replaced. A pack of five cartridges typically costs $10, and although this seems like a rip-off, one cartridge lasts as long as 15 to 20 cigarettes. The full pack, then, can last as long as 75 to 100 cigarettes.

Even with these benefits, however, an electronic cigarette kit is not a quitting device. Although the presence and popularity of electronic cigarettes has increased dramatically over the past year, not enough research has been done to indicate a correlation between using the device and effectively quitting smoking. Because an electronic cigarette may or may not have nicotine, it is to be used as a personal vaporizer that simulates a smoking experience through touch and taste.
