There are no rings, packing or valves to wear out and no foundation is required. ROI gas compressors provide smooth operations with no piping vibrations from pressure pulsations. These compressors are constructed solely from iron or steel with no copper or copper alloy which makes them compatible with natural gases.

Single-stage rotary screw compressors are positive displacement machinery. They produce force by filling a void between two helical mated screws with air. As the screws are turned, the volume of the air-filled space is reduced resulting in increased pressure. Le ROI air compressors are equipped with the most up-to-date screw cutting technology to provide unsurpassed, consistent power output. Single-stage operation from 20 PSIG (pound per square inch gauge) to 350 PSIG is attainable with numerous Le ROI compressor models including the HG12, HG17 and HGF series. The LG30 and LGL30 offer PGSI ranging from 5 to 200. Discharge porting is available for maximum compression effectiveness.

Le ROI offers several two-stage compressors which are designed for heavy duty use and offer a higher level of compression. A two-stage compressor generates less heat resulting in less wear on the machine. It can also store air for future use and is more energy efficient. In a two-stage compressor, the work is divided between two stages which reduces the force on any rotating parts thus increasing the reliability and years of operation of the machine. Le ROI air compressors are available in four two-stage models which range from 350 to 600 horsepower. The HGT17 and HGT24 series supply operation from 250 PSIG to 500 PSIG.
