Choosing the Right Air Conditioning Unit

The ducted air conditioning unit offers a better coverage even than this, and is invisible, which means of course that it will not in any way detract from the aesthetics of your place. If, say, you have a Western theme bar then using a duct unit is probably a good idea – because your customers cannot see the air conditioning system they don't have to have their illusions spoiled. As far as we are aware, there never was any visible air conditioning unit in the Old Wild West!

If you are looking to cool a server room, you are probably going to be best served by using a wall mounted air conditioning unit. The wall mounted unit is the quickest kind of unit to fit and the cheapest to buy. In a server room you are not really interested in aesthetics so much as how you can keep a functional place cool for as little money as possible. All a server needs is to stay cold – it doesn't have to have its air diffused or deflected or whatever.

A floor set air conditioning unit is used where there is no space on wall or ceiling to properly mount an air conditioning system. The floor mounted unit offers much the same coverage and setup time as a wall mounted unit, and is only slightly more expensive to buy.
